Case Converter is a free tool site. This page explains what happens to information when you use it.
The short version
We do not ask for an account, a name or an email address to use the tool. We do not add analytics scripts or trackers to the site. Our host may provide basic traffic statistics from its server logs, and we use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search; neither places cookies in your browser. The site is supported by advertising from Google AdSense, which uses cookies (see Advertising below).
What you enter into the tool
The text you paste or type into the converter is processed in your browser. It is not sent to our servers and we cannot see it.
What is stored on your device
The site does not store anything about you on your device, and it does not keep your text. If you reload the page, the text box starts empty.
Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of it through aboutads.info or Your Online Choices. Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not receive or control the data Google collects.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs, which typically include your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. They are kept for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
If you email us
If you write to hello@textcasechanger.com, we use your email address and message only to reply and to fix any problem you report. We do not add anyone to a mailing list, and we do not share your message.
Links to other sites
Pages may link to other websites, such as official sources. We do not control those sites and their privacy practices are their own.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU, data protection law gives you rights over personal data held about you, including the right to ask what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, and to complain to your data protection authority. In the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office. Because we collect almost no personal data, the most likely thing we hold is an email you sent us, which we will delete on request.
Changes
If we change how the site works, we will update this page and its date.
