How to convert uppercase to lowercase

When to use it
Text typed with caps lock on by mistake, headings copied from a PDF or a spreadsheet, shouting emails you want to calm down, data exports where every field is in capitals, and email addresses or URLs, which are normally written in lowercase.
Lowercase vs Sentence case
Lowercase makes every letter small, including the first letter of each sentence and names. If you want normal sentences with a capital at the start, choose Sentence case instead. It lowercases everything and then capitalises the start of each sentence.
Good to know
Case conversion uses your browser's Unicode support, so accented letters such as É and Ñ convert correctly. Numbers and punctuation are not changed.
